Our Founder

Doris Chan is an adventurous traveler who embarked on her journey from Hong Kong to England at the age of 15. Inspired by her father’s successful travel agency established in the 1970s, Doris launched London Adventures Walking Tours in 2023, fueled by her passion for sharing London’s wonders with visitors from around the globe.

With over two decades of experience in the global hospitality and hotel industry, Doris combines her expertise with a love for storytelling and exploration. She is dedicated to showcasing the very best of London—from iconic landmarks to hidden gems and fascinating day trips. Her team of passionate tour guides shares her enthusiasm for unveiling the rich history, culture, and travel tips that make London truly unforgettable.

Our family took the South Bank Experience tour and couldn’t be happier. The tour was designed with well-timed outdoors and indoors activities so that we were not tired, not to mention all the “fueling stations” at the Borough Market – we tried the delicious apple crumble accompany with hot cider. So much fun to walk on Tower Bridge and learn all the history and amazing stories. This was not just a tour, it was an amazing experience! Highly recommended”

“Joined the Greenwich tour. Our guide really knows the history and shared a lot of interesting stories when we visited the Royal Observatory and we did the cherry blossom trail. So beautiful! We had a fabulous lunch at the historic Trafalgar Tavern and tried the whitebait (little fish) as we were told it’s famous from this pub. It was really good. Had a wonderful time!”

“Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We love the discovery of Queen Caroline’s Bath and Elizabeth Oak in Greenwich Park. Royal Observatory and the Meridian line is fascinating. We like the pace and sampling some local beer & snack at the end of the tour.”
